I recently visited San Antonio for a business trip and decided to forgo the usual "institutional" housing that my company lined up, opting instead for a place a friend had recommended. Boy did I hit the jackpot! Turned out The Madison was situated in a quiet, charming area (very safe) with easy access to food and entertainment. It felt like I had my own condo! The building my unit was in did not seem crowded, and if it was, I couldn't tell due to how quiet it was. I felt safe as a middle aged woman at all times. Furniture seemed brand new and untouched. The fridge and microwave were a nice touch. I don't typically write reviews, but felt compelled to do so after my stay here.

My visit to San Antonio was an extended stay for personal/pleasure. This property was perfect...had all the amenities without the hassle! The bathroom...I never used the shower, I was there to relax...the big, deep tub was perfect for soaking each night after my long exploratory walks. The neighborhood is full of charm and has plenty of personality. Guest services was available without seemingly, ever being present--perfect! I recommend this property and will be back myself! Thanks for a wonderful stay!"
