AT&T delivers LTE network service to San Antonio

AT&T's new wireless data network, "4G LTE" has been rolled out in several large metropolitan areas over the last couple of months, offering roughly double the speeds of its older network for a handful of devices. Providing downloads of 5 to 12 megabits per second, it's comparable to speeds on Verizon's LTE network which was made available late last year. AT&T will not be selling a new data plan, but rather the use of it's new network will be a bonus included free for users of its existing data plans.
