Food trucks are coming to new parts of the Alamo City, and many locations that started with a single truck now have three or more, bringing a diverse mix of cuisines and cultures to the streets of a city that appears to have embraced a growing trend around the country...

Trucks across the city now serve everything from Southern comfort food to several varieties of Asian cuisine. The trend has become so popular that local truck chefs have their own food festivals and cooking contests, and even some brick-and-mortar restaurants have also gone "mobile".

Two of our favorite food truck confabs are the Eats Bar on S. Alamo and the Boardwalk on Bulverde.

•  Enjoy San Antonio’s first Urban Gourmet Food Truck Park where Food diversity hits Southtown in a big way. Located at The Historic Acapulco Drive Inn, Alamo Street Eat Bar provides gourmet eats and San Antonio draft favorites. Sit in the shadow of HemisFair’s Tower of the Americas and walk to all your favorite Downtown locations.

•  Open all year round, Boardwalk on Bulverde is the first and only fully functioning mobile vending park in San Antonio, TX. Combining gourmet cuisine from some of the top chefs in the region with an outdoor, laid-back atmosphere all food is made on site, to order to guarantee you get the freshest that is available. With open eating areas stocked with plenty of tables, you are more than welcome to check out the trucks, grab some grub, and B.Y.O.B. (or other alcoholic beverage) to unwind after a long day.

Roaming Hunger is a great resource for keeping up with the ever-changing lineup of who's who/where for San Antonio food trucks, enjoy!
